Unfortunately we were confronted with numerous ants when we arrived, alive & dead in the downstairs bathroom, shower, waste bin, hallway, main bedroom, ensuite. We were only there four nights & we ended up having to put my granddaughters playdo in the shower controls. The standard of cleanliness throughout the property was poor, dirty high chair, dog hair on upstairs rug, dirty grill pan, grease and dirt on kitchen blinds. It’s a real shame as we booked our Xmas break based on the previous good reviews. Hopefully the cottage will receive a thorough clean & maintenance in readiness for the next occupants.

Had a lovely Break at the cottage and enjoyed the freedom of the estate to wander round with the dog, who made lots of new friends (Horses in the paddocks). We visited in Autumn and the colour change of the leaves was particularly pleasing as was the wildlife. The Cottage is situated on a private estate about 4-5 miles from the nearest village and sits adjacent to the owners house, not that you ever seen or heard them. So as near to seclusion as you could possibly want

We really enjoyed our peaceful 4 night stay at forest cottage. The grounds are lovely and most appreciated by our 2 dogs. The furniture, linen and kitchen equipment are very good quality, although the bathroom doors could do with shutting properly. Unfortunately we went when a lot of nearby attractions were closed for winter (30/10 -3/11/17). Local shop was short drive away. Dog friendly attractions we went to were High lodge, Lynford Arboretum and old Hunstanton beach. The Crown Inn at Mundford is dog friendly inside and serves good food.

The location is stunning and just what we was looking for. The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. The owners live opposite but are lovely and we will definitely return. There are lots of things to do within an easy drive if you are able to bring yourself to leave the beautiful grounds. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Fantastic cottage in some amazing grounds. We loved walking around the estate with our dog Amber who loved every minute, especially finding a deer and squirrel. There are miles of well kept paths around the enclosed fenced off estate that enabled the dog to run and explore to her hearts content. The upside down style of the cottage works well and it is well equipped. The owners are very friendly we would highly recommend the cottage to anyone.

A delightful location, especially if you're taking dogs as the property and surroundings are secure and you can wander freely throughout the extensive grounds. Sandringham and Wells next the sea within an easy drive.

Lovely and well-equipped cottage in a great location. Fantastic to be able to walk through woodland with the dogs direct from the cottage.
