Description

With a large garden and games room, this farmhouse is an ideal property for a family holiday.

Nestled down a quiet country lane in the small hamlet of Milton, this traditional, detached farmhouse is conveniently located in the Pembrokeshire National Park. The popular coastal resort of Tenby, with its cobbled streets, beaches and irresistible seafood restaurants, is just 5 miles away. Situated on a working farm, this farmhouse is deceptively spacious throughout and is the perfect property for an unforgettable holiday experience. During inclement weather, guests can enjoy the indoor games area equipped with table tennis and a dartboard, or when the sun is shining, relax in the enclosed, lawned garden, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure! From the edge of the doorstep, guests can stroll to the charming village of Carew with its traditional Welsh inn, which is renowned for good food and live music, or explore the historic castle lying peacefully on the edge of the glistening Cleddau Estuary. Visit the iconic coastal path, with its spectacular views and walks, which leads you to the picturesque coastal resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, set within their tranquil fishing harbours and golden sandy beaches. Take a boat ride and explore the off-shore islands of Caldey, and share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian monks. Take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to sea birds, seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. For a day out, visit the award-winning leisure attractions of Oakwood, Bluestone and Manor House Wildlife Park. For the more active, golf and horse riding can be found locally. Beach 6 miles. It was a lively break, lots of spaces and had all the necessary kits. Throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and would love to return

Not particularly well maintained and dated with one bedroom accessed through another; owner never bothered to show up

Spacious farmhouse, large rooms, good value for money. Comfy lounge. Nice local pub.

loved the farmhouse kitchen, and lots of space both inside and out, playing football in the orchard. Good pub serving nice food within walking distance.

There was plenty of space and the gardens would have been used more had the weather been a little warmer. Time your car journeys out to avoid the local tractors!

Well located and spacious. Lacked sufficient equipment such as a scart lead and a vegetable peeler.

Paintwork was peeling quite badly on stair bannisters, shower was leaking. No information pack. No scart lead for DVD player. No name to the property to indicate front door. Shower on the ground floor was impractical as you had to walk through the kitchen to get to it. A four slice toaster would have been beneficial. Disappointed that towels were all different colours and not left neatly on each bed as you would expect. On the plus side the house was warm and plenty of room for the children to run around. Lots of places to visit and gorgeous beaches.

A beautiful spot to stay, easily able to access a large part of Pembrokeshire (but must have a car). The house is huge and easily sleeps 11 but you need to note that one of the downstairs wing bedrooms can only be accessed through the other bedroom. Another toilet is vital! The decor is tired with some areas of urgent repair required (the floor next to the cooker in the kitchen caused some serious cuts with loose and broken tiles). The kitchen has an eclectic mix of crockery with some basic implements like a veggie peeler missing! Saying all that this property is perfect at its price for a large family gathering, there is loads of parking and outside space, and it is peaceful.

Wonderful spacious cottage. Had a great week, just 3.5 miles from Pembroke, and 5.5 miles from Tenby. 1.4 miles from Carew Castle there is plenty to explore locally. If you are taking your dog the local pub in Carew (Carew Inn) is dog friendly, good to book in advance as it is a popular place.
