I've stayed in 20+ holiday cottages over the years and this one was by far the worst !! I can't believe that everything people have complained about is still the same !! The cottage is dirty, the toilet off the living room is carpeted !! and smells bad!! The towels are too small and old. The twin bedroom has not got a practical layout, meaning you can't get to the patio doors or properly access the only wardrobe in the property. This is a beautiful cottage which has great potential to be a lovely home from home, sadly the owners are not realising that.

    The cottage requires modernising.

The only positives about this cottage are its location and the kitchen. Otherwise very poor. We had no hot water when we arrived for almost 2 days as the boiler had broken and it was almost impossible to contact the landlady. It didn't look like the cottage had been cleaned. The bedding smelt and the rugs and mirrors were filthy.

Family of four, two lively kids, and they loved it. Great location for entertaining the kids, and stunning landscape. Super quiet and remote, great to totally switch off.
