We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, everything was provided. Perfect home from home. We were provided with milk, coffee and tea bags to start us off, with lovely cake to go with a cuppa. Then for later a bottle of wine! A lot of thought had gone into providing what would be needed and was very much appreciated. Yes, we would go back there, the only critique would be it had not a washer dryer, although when we stayed the weather was ok, but a dryer would have made a difference in wet weather. Thank you for making the cottage so homely.

it was a real pleasure to stay at Folly view, whilst not "near" any amenities neither was it too "far" away. And it was well worth it to stay in such a beautiful, well equipped cottage. in a beautiful location.

The cottage was cosy and well equipped. Unfortunately the neighbouring cottage was looking after two fox hounds who started making noises and woke us up around 6am. They also kept escaping from their compound and managed to dig under the fence into our garden on one occasion and were running loose doing their business on the grass in front of the cottage and was not picked up. This did rather spoil our holiday as our two little dogs were frightened of them.

Beautiful cottage with everything you want, even down to the welcoming bottle of wine and chocolate brownies. We were not left wanting. Plenty of walks and places to visit; Beamish Valley was very picturesque - with the different terrains & plenty of wildlife to see. Would love to return sometime.

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would consider booking again.
