Excellent location for shops and beach. Could not have been cleaner, the high chair and cot were very useful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was lacking in basics. Uncomfortable furniture. No toilet roll holders. Only 5 teaspoons. Only one, stained teatowel. Front door 'sticks', very difficult to open. Noisy water pump. Very small television. DVD player not connected. Very thin curtains. Only one shelf in oven. Pans had seen better days.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your comments which help us to improve for future Guests. We had planned larger TV’s for this September but now will bring this forward. Of course, they will have two scart sockets so the DVD will plug in permanently. We have some blackout curtains already and will get more. There are vertical toilet roll holders there and I think you must be referring to the en suite extractor fan when you say noisy pump, it has an isolator. The furniture is fine and the front door is close to the mat because of sea breezes. We have now resolved the housekeeping issues.

Flint Beach House was a disappointment because it was not a beach house and did not feel like one, despite the deck chairs and bunting screwed to the walls. The Ikea furniture was uncomfortable and the cheap soft furnishings (Dunelm Mill?) were itchy and garish. The carpets and curtains smelt of cigarettes and dogs. I have stayed at many holiday properties, this was the only one I disliked. The tiny TV was complicated to operate through a Sky Box even though Sky was not available. I ended up watching TV on my laptop in the tiny lounge. Seaford is not a particularly nice place, it feels run down. Top marks for the sea and cliff tops though. The children disliked the house too and we were all very glad to leave. The neighbours like to party so had to sit through hours of hits from the Sixties and the dog next door is a barker.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for the comments following your recent stay. We had new TV’s planned for September but have brought this forward to now and of course the new TV will have a scart connector for the DVD, rather than changing it over as I showed you when I was there. We’ll have the monthly carpet clean done again but we do welcome dogs. We will look at the soft furnishings too. I hope the GCSE’s went well for your daughter.

Great location for exploring East Sussex. The house itself has everything you need to make you feel at home.

Loved staying in the house it was a good choice, Seaford is a lovely place with loads of walking to enjoy. The town is well served by restaurants and pubs, also the people seemed very friendly. If you want to travel to Brighton for the day the trains are frequent and cheap leaving from Seaford station.

Lovely comfortable house, everything one would need and very close to the beach. Just didn't like Seaford.

The house is modern and equipped with modern appliances and a good suipply of crockery and cutlery. Three toilets, two bathrooms, one en-suite with an excellent walk in shower, plentiful hot water. Has it's own parking area, very useful, and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and promenade. It is only a 10 minute walk to the local shops including a Morrisons. Numerous pubs and nice coatal walking within easy reach. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Lovely holiday home so close to the beach! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come again, though black out curtains would be good as it was so sunny in the mornings-not that I'm complaining about that!!
