What a lovely comfortable cottage. Absolutely spotless and everything you need. Great location just minutes from the beach and great walks in the surrounding areas which our 2 huskys just loved. Would definately book again. Very happy customers

We had a great holiday at Firth Lodge. The only issue we had was that we were only left one towel each. There were no hand towels and only one dishtowel left. This meant we could only wash and dry our towels on a dry day when we knew they would dry. Aside from this the cottage was lovely and clean. It is well furnished and comfortable and had everything we needed. Aside from a tumble dryer to dry our towels. It is in a lovely quiet location with neighbours who will take time to pass the time of day.

A very pleasant, well appointed bungalow, with perhaps the only shortfall being more wardrobe space and mirrors needed. Ideally situated if you are a keen golfer with two courses nearby. Also great for getting onto the beach, however the local facilities are mainly limited to a small shop and a good pub serving meals. We certainly had a relaxing stay and found it to be in a good seaside location, from which to tour Dumfries and Galloway.

A lovely clean and comfortable lodge. A credit to the owner. Great food and atmosphere at the local Paul Jones pub
