What a wonderful stay at Filters Cottage! In a beautiful location with fabulous views, this cosy cottage was just perfect. The cottage is spacious and the bed was comfortable, and it is furnished with lovely items which give it a real homely feel. The owner Rebecca lives next door and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou for a really special week. John and Carol

The cottage was charming. A warm welcome from the owner. Very well equipped, Lovely rural views from the property but also conveniently situated for many tourist attractions. Just one point not mentioned in the details, the cottage is up a very long unmade farm track.

Charming, traditional stone cottage, tastefully & very thoughtfully restored & furnished! So cosy with underfloor heating & log burner! Super shower & dishwasher and really every home comfort. Set in lovely farmland in the Bathgate Hills just west of Edinburgh. Wonderful views, backs on to owners beautiful garden! Lots of space for parking & bikes etc. Perfect romantic escape or just the most lovely peaceful place to stay if you're visiting central Scotland. Beecraigs Country Park is just over the fence with woodland trails & deer farm & hearing stags bellowing in the August twilight is very atmospheric! Historic Scottish town, nearby Linlithgow offers all the facilities you'll need! Edinburgh only a short drive/train ride away. Lovely owners, made us feel so very welcome!!
