This is a character built all oak timber cottage that could make a great holiday home. The one thing that lets it down is it is filled with sale room clutter.Every room is furnished with pieces of bric -a brac, Edwardian furniture and coastal ornaments.they cover every conceivable surface.Window sills ,ledges, table tops, screwed to the walls, hanging from the ceiling. This would not be too bad if they were clean, but everthing is dusty and covered in cobwebs.Up in the rafters are corn dollys and teddy bears that have not been dusted for months. The bedrooms are large but there is no where to put your clothes because all floor space is filled with dainty chairs with soft toys on,writing desks you cant put anything in.wash stands with Victorian jugs on.we had to take a table out of the bathroom with a great array of ferns in to access the bath. All the windows were hung with dusty beige lace curtains eliminating 75% of the light .The first thing my wife did was to take them down and tie back the curtains to let some light in the rooms.Even the small courtyard outside wasn't immune, filled with wooden chairs and broken down benches that couldn't be sat on,plants dying in their troughs. This all drove my wife mad.She would have loved to have spent a month here with a large skip to declutter the place and put some decent lighting in to brighten it up.

Expensive for what it offers. Only 3 out of 4 chairs. Cooking pots covered in dust. Owner called first day because hot failed. Tap on kitchen sink loose. up for sale and let to go down hill.

Overall the cottage was satisfactory and location was good for us. However, shower's were not very hot. Burnt my hand on the fire because no glove was provided. The light switch in the upstairs bathroom was very annoying. The upstairs temperture was very hard to regulate for a new born baby. Cooker and beds were very comfortable and very dog friendly.

Very pleasant cottage. You need to know how to make a fire in the wintertime! Note that the dining room chairs were very unstable, and semi-collapsing - this should really be seen to, as it would be easy for them to injure someone. Everything good except for that.
