Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Interior of property was generally fine and spacious but access to rear garden was not disabled or small child friendly due to a number of deep steps and mossy paving, hazardous when wet. View from garden lovely and area is peaceful with wildlife on view. Fakenham 10 mins by car but nothing local. For info - Barsham Arms unable to provide meals without advance booking. Enjoyed our family holiday and would recommend area.

This is a lovely cottage with good accommodation in a great location - quiet and very rural but within easy reach of lots of interesting places to visit and enjoy. There is something for everyone - beaches, country houses, walks, cycling, the Broads, etc. The cottage is comfortable and warm with an excellent log burner and plenty of logs. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for our party of four adults and three children. There is easy parking for two cars. The owners are next door so immediately available for help or information. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Excellent spacious home to spend a holiday week for our kind of group, interested by nature and birdwatching. Comfortable and adapted for those who like sleep in cold sleeping rooms. You must know that the wood fire acts as source of warm for the central heating.

I found beds very hard. I have been in pain with bones since returning home. The wood burner was a faff on, having to clean and set it to have central heating. House will be very cold in winter.

Excellent cottage; did not expect to find cool boxes and ice packs provided (or crabbing buckets and net) However it took combined skills of four adults to work out how to use the cooker; NASA would be proud of it!) A shower that is accessible for those who can't use a bath would be a bonus and darker blinds would have made it easier to get 3 yr old to sleep. Apart from that Cottage worked well for party age range of 3 to 87!
