Originally the farmhouse set on a working farm a couple of miles from Bodedem on Anglesey

Ffynnon Mab nestles amidst lush green countryside just outside the tiny hamlet of Trevor and only a couple of miles from Bodedern. Recently renovated to a very high standard you will immediately feel at home in this comfortable detached holiday cottage, which was originally the farmhouse on this working farm and dates back to the 1800s. With a living room as well as a cosy sitting room there is somewhere peaceful to retreat no matter how many of you there are. The views from here are absolutely stunning with a panorama of the whole of the Lleyn Peninsula and mountains in the distance. The fields surrounding the cottage are lush and green, inviting you to walk and picnic, taking advantage of the microclimate which Anglesey is known for. The farm owners are friendly and helpful and will gladly direct you on walks through and around the fields, showing you the best of all seasons. The remains of Felin Mannau windmill rise majestically from the land just a short stroll away.Wildlife is just on the doorstep with pheasants pottering about oblivious to your gaze, cattle grazing contentedly and sheep dotting the landscape.

Ffynnon Mab is the place to go if you want peace and quiet, clean country air and a warm friendly welcome. It was very clean on entry and provided plenty of space for the five of us ( three adults and two under 10) but will sleep six. Valley is a short drive away and host's both a Spar and Cost cutter store along with eatery's and Hollyhead is easily reached in about ten min's with a full shopping park of all major supermarkets plus other stores. The cottage is a modernised farm house and has been in the family a long long time, it is spacious and clean but downstairs views are limited by mature trees front and back' but this does not detract as stepping outside provides vistas of rolling pastoral views stretching for miles. Being in the country, on a clear night the sky is filled with stars and the milky way stretches overhead, magnificent! You are in the open country. The cottage provides quiet, but well within range of all the amenities of a large town and is idyllically situated in the heart of Anglesey's farm land. It's an ideal place to unwind and relax.
