This is a great little cottage, very quiet location, nice and warm and well equiped, the owners are very helpful without being intrusive, plenty of goods walks from the door and good golf courses nearby.

Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings. Friendly owners . The only criticism, although their is a walk in shower, it is not suitable should a shower seat be required due to it's size.

cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. Location was a bit 'off the beaten track' so if you are looking for a get away from it all place this would be it!

For people wishing to spend a restful time, wanting to recharge their batteries, it is the ideal location. It is beautifully located with a very quiet ambience. Also, it is well appointed and very comfortable, and when the weather is good, time can also be spent in the grounds to affect more relaxing opportunities.

The cottage is fantastic for those who like quite and solitude. It is really out of the way. Yet it is only 30 minutes from the Straiton park and ride at Edinburgh. Really practical. Easy to get down to the motorway system at Edinburgh. The owners are friendly and helpful. We loved our stay in the region.

This Cottage although remote in it's location was ideal for what we were looking for. The owners were very friendly and always had time for either a cheery wave or chat. The down side was that we had no mobile signal, but there was a land line in the cottage that we could use. This cottage is advertised as having Wi.Fi, but again as you are picking this up from the owners cottage next door most of the time there was no access.
