This cottage is in a pretty little village which is very remote. We are used to staying in Scottish cottages in the highlands but this was a little too remote for us and the access roads really need 4x4 or powerful cars. Our scenic struggled at times!! (Maybe its the driver!!) The cottage itself is spacious and has everything you need for your stay however the bed was too hard for us 'Southern Softies!' This cottage was excellent value for money - we usually pay three times the price for smaller cottages. There are some interesting attractions within an hours drive but not all were dog friendly. The George in Inveraray was excellent as was the Jail. Overall this cottage is good value but too remote for us.

Nice cottage, in a very beautiful location. It was very well equipped and comfortable. There was also WiFi and Netflix provided which was a welcome bonus as it wasn't mentioned in the description. We especially enjoyed the red squirrel who came to the bird feeder on the balcony! Highly recommended.

The cottage is large and the beds are comfortable. However, some of the furniture and fittings are in need of repair/replacement e.g the wall lights were hanging off in one bedroom, the towel rail in another scorched the towels and the coffee table in the lounge was marked. The garden is also not totally secure as near the gate the fence is broken. The owner said when I contacted him that he was unaware of the damage to the lights, I said I would have expected the cleaner to have told him, but he was very pleasant and said he would have them fixed when we left. If watching the birds on the bird table is of interest bring your own bird food as there was non.

Fantastic cottage in a stunning location by Loch Goli. Clean, tidy with everything you need during your stay. The owner had thought of everthing including a few children's games and binocloculas to borrow. A unexpected extra was that the cottage had excellent WiFi and Netflix for those wet afternoons. Just 5 mins walk down the road was a great boat hire place where we tried a bit of fishing, saw the lenght of Loch Goli, saw some seals & even had one follow our boat. The area has lots of walks, cycle tracks (although lots of very steep hills). The Goli Inn in the village has really great food but I would avoid the other pub! I personally would love to return to this beautiful area of Scotland & would recommend this cottage as a place to stay.

Enjoyed our holiday despite having rain for most of the week (the weather can't be helped!). It was a really comfy cottage and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful. We did feel it could do with a deep clean however. It was good value for money because of the beautiful location.
