Large house with plenty of room to move about, in a nice location. However, the general state of the property felt tired and in need of little TLC,

We loved our stay here, with 6 adults, and 2 children, and would definitely stay again. It is very spacious, private and quiet. Contrary to previous reviews we had no problems with the heating. We were there in the mornings and early afternoons. and we found that the heating was on probably because of the cold and wet climate. Also, there's extra electric fires, and an open fire in the living room. Linen and towels were included, and there's a washing machine and drying area. The kitchen has got loads of utensils and a decent sized fridge/freezer. There's wifi available (mainly in the kitchen). Close to Gosforth there's a really well stocked convenience shop. The owners are fantastic, approachable and accommodating.

Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything we needed and there was lots to do near by. Would recommend as we all had a brilliant time and was a bonus dogs are allowed.

A great , spacious house, our only issue was that the heating didn't come on until 5pm in the afternoon and this meant we couldn't have spent a wet day in the house.

Great house in a great location. Very clean and plenty of room, took a while to heat up some of the rooms but overall a gray house and would definitely stay again.

The proprietor was lovely she made really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed she couldn't do enough. Definitely recommend. The house was full of character and very spacious. We were a family of 7 and never felt like we were in each others space. Really enjoyed our stay.

What an amazing large family home, we had a great time, we could all fit comfortably around the table for our meals and enjoyed our daughters birthday party there too. Mrs Richardson was just lovely, took our adult children to milk the cows aswell...really couldn't have asked for more. Our age ranged from 58 to 19 and we all loved the house, the open fire & the rooms were so comfortable, many thanks to the Richardsons.
