Lovely spacious cottage, ideal for such a large group or family. Local nice Italian and pubs serving food but we ate out once over 3 nights. Location is decent as most roads aren't direct but we were close to scafell pike to go from wasdale head.

A grand old house which was entertainment in itself. Our 2 under two grandchildren were always on the go...from sitting room to kitchen and back. Thank you for providing the child gate at the bottom of the stairs! Another big treat was to have their bath/swim in the corner bath. Tricia made us very welcome and had thought of the details to make our stay trouble free.
