The house is spacious and very well equipped with a very well maintained tennis court and games room. The lounge is a good size but the settees very uncomfortable. In the games room toys for younger children are provided but most are broken or missing pieces. The master bedroom is amazing with a lovely balcony from which the view is staggering.

Lovely house with everything you need. Beautiful location with nice local pub. It would benefit from some wifi, which wouldn't cost them much really. Only slightly spoilt by a bad smell out the back, coming from the sceptic tank. That said, I'd go back tomorrow!

The house had plenty of space for a large group, however there are a number of areas one can only describe as "tired". The kitchen could benefit from a very deep cleaning and a bit of an up grade of the utensils. A couple of new sofas and some extra pillows for the bedrooms would improve the comfort of the living areas. The carpet between the kitchen and the hall is held in place with tape, not exactly safe for young or old. Could be a fantastic holiday home as it has great views and outdoor spaces and a games room, it is just in need of a bit of investment to bring it all up to a good standard.

Ewelands House is ideal for people of all ages. It is ideally situated within close vicinity of many of North Yorkshires best attractions and has one of the best views ever. It is spacious, both inside and out, and full of character. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay there.
