Really enjoyed our week here, stunning location and very cosy cottage. Bedrooms nice and spacious and the bathroom and living area both comfortable. Absolutely loved it and very good for the price. Couple of snags: Kitchen equipment was not great. All the chopping knives rubbish and with glass chopping boards?!? Chopping boards should not be made of glass. The worst bit was the fridge which was really woefully inadequate. Far too small and only had 2 shelves. made worse by not having door compartments for milk and the veg storage at the bottom was inaccessible. So we put a load of food in there and a lot of the veg we bought froze to the back wall. There is no bbq either which is a bit of a shame, although we bought a very small cheap one from Morrison's for £7 which kind of added to the fun. Bit of an oversight though I must say. Don't let all that put you off though, the location is fantastic!

Everwood Lodge was set in the beautiful countryside 7 miles out of Fort William. It was very homely and the lounge area was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped but the oven was quite dated, and difficult to operate, as the temperature setting had been wiped off with use. There was a washing machine and dishwasher but no tumble dryer. The bathroom was well equipped with a corner shower and a lovely big bath. The ground floor bedroom is very small and the bed side cabinets are so tight against the bed, so that when you move, they creak. The floor was very creaky too. The upstairs bedrooms were beautiful but with no blinds on the windows above the bed, at sunrise it was very light in the room. Not good if you need a dark room to sleep. The owner is a lovely lady, who loves her horses, but I was a bit surprised to find that the stables were on the other side of the fence. The lodge is in a lovely setting with the river running alongside the road at the front of the property and it is a lovely walk along the lane. Lots of activities in the area around Fort William and plenty to see and do.
