Everwood Lodge was set in the beautiful countryside 7 miles out of Fort William. It was very homely and the lounge area was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped but the oven was quite dated, and difficult to operate, as the temperature setting had been wiped off with use. There was a washing machine and dishwasher but no tumble dryer. The bathroom was well equipped with a corner shower and a lovely big bath. The ground floor bedroom is very small and the bed side cabinets are so tight against the bed, so that when you move, they creak. The floor was very creaky too. The upstairs bedrooms were beautiful but with no blinds on the windows above the bed, at sunrise it was very light in the room. Not good if you need a dark room to sleep. The owner is a lovely lady, who loves her horses, but I was a bit surprised to find that the stables were on the other side of the fence. The lodge is in a lovely setting with the river running alongside the road at the front of the property and it is a lovely walk along the lane. Lots of activities in the area around Fort William and plenty to see and do.

Fantastic. Warm homely lodge. X helen the owner is only next door and has to be one of the nicest people ive met. X my nephew loved her as she let him help her with her horses. X the lodge is only a 10 min drive into fort william town and theres just so much to see and do in the area.x my family didnt want to leave. A great base to explore the highlands. Xx we will be back to this lodge again. X love how pet friendly it is and my dog enjoyed his holiday as much as us.
