A spacious and well equipped bungalow set in a secluded spot yet within walking distance of Bath city centre.

This spacious, single storey holiday property is within a few minutes’ level walking distance to the centre of Bath and yet enjoys a peaceful, secluded location opposite Henrietta Park, one of Bath’s many beautiful parks. The property has secure and ample parking within the gated grounds and is adjacent to the owner’s home. Bath is renowned for its architectural treasures, in particular The Royal Crescent, The Circus, Pump Room and Pulteney Bridge, and the entire city has been designated a World Heritage site. Other famous attractions include the Roman Baths, the 15th-century abbey, and the recent arrival of the Thermae Bath Spa with open air rooftop pool. Catch a show at the beautiful Theatre Royal, which puts on performances all year round to appeal to all the family, with drama, comedy, dance, opera and frequent Sunday concerts. There is a year round calender of festivals and cultural events, and a huge array of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. Bath is also famous for its range of quality independent shops. Situated in the West Country, visitors can experience all the regions foods, cheeses and wines at local farmers markets, as well as trying the famous Bath Bun. The canal and River Avon run through the city, and their footpaths are excellent for walking, cycling and boating. Further afield, one can easily reach Longleat, Cheddar, with its breathtaking limestone gorge and caverns, Glastonbury, and the many National Trust houses such as Dryham Park, Stourhead and Lacock Abbey. The historic cathedral city of Wells is easily accessible, with its bustling market square, Bishop’s Palace and medieval cobbled streets. It is only a 45 minutes’ drive to the prehistoric Stonehenge, a mysterious monument that attracts millions of people every year. Shop 200 yards, pub 100 yards.

Outstanding ....... however if theWiFi was improved plus understanding why the gates needed locking at every use, then we could have given a 10 for every category.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your stay, we’re glad you found the property outstanding. I’m sorry to hear you had problems with the wi-fi but we have not had any other complaints regarding this. In regards to locking the gate, this is for security purposes to help protect your valuables and keep your vehicles safe. We hope to see you again.

Bungalow and it's location superb. Owner provides all equipment needed even some tea bags and coffee to start you off. Minor niggles tv programmes restricted not even freeview, no play equipment in local park or the garden for the grandchildren.

A very spacious and comfortable bungalow with only a ten minute walk to the centre of town.. Being tucked away behind other houses it was a little difficult to find and clearer instructions would have been helpful. The owners were very helpful and although on the same site we hardly saw anything of them as they had a separate entrance; but they were on hand if we needed anything. This is a gated property but as there were only two keys to the gate we kept the gate open during the day so we could all come and go as we pleased - the other keys to the doors of the bungalow could be split up between us. All of us enjoyed our stay there and once we had mastered the oven we all found the kitchen good to work in and well arranged. Another really handy thing was the cupboard

We stayed at Esterelle for nearly three weeks with daughter, son-in-law and grandsons joining us for long weekends. We all loved being there, playing games on the lawn, having a barbecue, walking around Bath and visiting National Trust properties such as Stourhead, Dyrham Park, Lacock Abbey and Newark Park. Esther and Paul are great hosts, really helpful and onsite if we needed anything such as the best fish and chip shop! The property is a minute from a great pocket park and a good stroll into the city centre with plenty to look at including the abbey, baths and Jane Austen centre. The canal towpaths are well worth walking along with plenty of folk to chat with while you avoid the joggers.
