Had a great weekend away. Cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. Had some lovely walks and good food. Really enjoyed food at the Links. Would return but need to factor in that the cottage doesn't have central heating and the night storage heaters didn't really give a lot of heat out. If it had been colder it would have been a problem for us.

A lovely cottage in an amazing part of the world, Northumberland. It is a perfectly sized place for 4 adults. A great week. Thank you

The cottage is in a great location and is equipped with everything you need for a short break or longer stay. As the road is uneven around the property I would recommend taking a torch if returning "home" after dark. Would recommend the Bamburgh Castle Hotel and Insieme (Italian restaurant) for food in seahouses.

We had the most amazing holiday. Seahouses is the perfect place to use as a base to explore everything this part of Northumbria has to offer.

Lovely place. Had to clean the bathroom upon arrival though.

Erskine cottage is spacious and a comfortable base for touring the area.We felt with a caravan site on one side and close proximity to neighbours that it needed curtains or blinds for more privacy.Outside the front looked neglected and needed to be tidied.

Very good cottage in a good location and nice to have a courtyard parking space. The overall standard of equipment and furniture was first class. One small criticism concerns the lack of a wardrobe in the twin bedroom which is possibly adequate for families with children but a bit restrictive for four adults

We very much enjoyed our stay at Erskine Cottage. We were surprised at how spacious it was- the downstairs loo was a real bonus!- and it was very well equipped and tastefully furnished. It was immaculately clean. The location was ideal, so close to the harbour. Although we had an allocated parking space, it did seem a little tight. Fortunately, our neighbours at no30 seemed to be away. Not having anywhere to sit outside is a shame, but you are so close to the harbour, I don't suppose it really matters. A wall mirror in the bathroom would be very useful. All in all, we were impressed with the cottage.

A lovely, clean and comfortable cottage providing the ideal base to explore the area. The owners' notes were particularly helpful, highlighting coastal walks and eateries in the area. There did however seem to be a problem with the shower: it required multiple presses of the 'start' button before it ran constantly!

Really great cottage, nicely furnished with all the equipment we needed. It was warm and clean the bedrooms were a good size. Liked the location tucked away in a little courtyard but within easy walking distance to the local Co-op, restaurants and pubs. The only complaint we had was that the shower didn't work which was a bit annoying with 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. It constantly kept cutting out so you had to hold the button down the whole time ! Other than that it was a great place to stay.
