A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable, and well equipped with a fantastic kitchen. The garden is nice but the garden furniture needs an upgrade. The DVD player mentioned on the website didn't exist! There is ample on-street parking. The village has a number of shops, pubs and cafe's, and is on the edge of Galloway Forest Park. Beautiful beaches are about 3 miles away. The pretty town of Kirkudbright is 15 minutes in the car and has the nearest petrol station.

Well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage. Enclosed garden great for dogs although the garden furniture was not very comfortable to sit on for any length of time. Would we stay there again? Without doubt.

Loved the cottage; very comfortable, and the garden was great for our dog. Location was great for exploring D&G. We explored in each direction as far as Mull of Galloway, Isle of Whithorn, Kippford, and New Galloway. Also happy with Gatehouse of Fleet, which has dog friendly pub (that did great food), plus shops for everyday essentials. Definitely plan to return to both Gatehouse and this cottage.

Really enjoyed this property, would just have liked some garden furniture to be able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather.

Spacious, comfortable, warm, well-equipped and in a beautiful area. Everything has been thought of here - even a spare dog-lead!!! Beautiful area for walking. People are friendly and dog-friendly.
