Our second visit to this lovely homely cottage. Stayed here same half term week last year (see my review🙂). Enjoyed it just as much as last time. Perfect, peaceful setting, we just love Dumfries and Galloway and we were so lucky with the weather too. Would thoroughly recommend staying here especially if you have a dog as the garden is safe as are all the local beaches. The neighbours are friendly and there is a lovely little white Jack Russell two doors down who sometimes pays a visit. The only, really small thing we missed was the supply of dog towels which were a welcome bonus last year. I'm sure the new caretaker, Zanne (lovely lady) will ensure that these are made available again. Thanks again to all involved.

Had a wonderfully relaxing time. The cottage is comfortable, warm and practical. We loved the area and the people in the village were very friendly. We'll be back !

This was our second visit to Endeavour's End. The cottage is very warm and spacious and very well located for sightseeing. However, we were a little disappointed as the garden had obviously been neglected. The cleaner left a note apologising for the state of the lawn and that the lawnmower had broken but the grass had obviously not been cut for weeks. The kitchen was very well equipped, however it needed a good sort out as some of the basic equipment was rusty/cracked/not fit for purpose. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday but were a bit disappointed that the cottage seemed to have been neglected since we last visited.

Cottage was lovely and the village is a real gem with access to walks and bike rides. Quite a busy road through the village meant quite a lot of road noise. A nice pub and restaurant in the village provided local options if you did not feel like driving.

Lovely cottage. Well equipped, very clean, good quality furnishings and linen. Great view from the garden, lovely neighbours. Some road noise from 8am, but won't bother anyone who is up earlier, or isn't a light sleeper. Didn't stop my husband sleeping in! Tiny tip - wooden coat hangers would be nice.

A lovely cottage, spotlessly clean & very well equipped. A perfect spot for walking the dog right from the door & all the pubs are dog friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't want to leave! The garden & views are wonderful.

It is a fab house in a great location. We went with the intention of using it as a base, going to other areas. We never left the village everything we needed was there. The house was the best we have ever had and I have full intention of recommending it to family and friends and will definitely go back.

Really love the property. Very clean and great location. This is my second time here. Didn't receive a welcome pack this time but, no matter, the shop is a handy 2 minute walk up the road for milk, wine etc. Parking is easy outside the house and the back garden is kept tidy.
