Fabulous cottage with lots of walking round about. Steps leading to the property are a bit of a worry on icy days and the hot water in the main bathroom needs addressing-other than that would book again.

Great cottage in a fantastic spot for exploring by foot or bike. Pretty sure we'll be back before too long!

The cottage is well presented and equipped. The bedrooms are all of a decent size and comfortable and clean. The wood burner was a bonus. Over Christmas the hosts had gone to extra trouble to decorate the property which was a nice touch. It is in a lovely location not far from Kinder Scout and many local walking/hiking paths and is right on the River Sett. There were a couple of really nice pubs within 5/10 minutes walk. The cottage sleeps six but doesn't quite 'live' six adults in the lounge. If you had a couple of children rather than an all adult party it would probably be fine.

Enjoyed our stay at Ellers Bank we would use again if coming back to the area. The only negative the garden area could be improved upon as its not the same standard as the interior but overall would recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage, well appointed and fantastic for local walks. Kinder Scout walkable straight from the door. Village has some nice pubs, though you need to drive to Chapel for a big shop. Thanks!

Great cottage and perfect location. We stayed there with our 3 teenagers and 2 dogs and all of us had a fab time. The village has everything you need including a great selection of pubs (The Sportsman was our favourite). The cottage itself is lovely and i really could not fault it. Will definitely be booking this cottage again!
