We had an excellent stay ,everything was spotless and there were many unexpected goodies to welcome us when we arrived such as milk, buiscits ,saches of coffee, tea, sugar, hand wash etc delighted with the good quality towels, and bedding, very spacious and secure for our small dogs. Already rebooked for the Gatehouse in March . Very friendly owners with well kept gardens and tubs, Great having a wash / drying room. I left items of clothing by mistake and the owner very kindly posted them on to me.

The cottage was very well equipped and clean. We had plenty of space and found it extremely good value. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was a great location, easy for us to visit Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and all the lovely places that area has to offer. Will definitely be back.

Caretaker/owner very approachable and obliging . cottage on arrival had welcome items of milk, tea , coffee, biscuits, toiletries, even washing up liquid and toilet rolls which are not usually provided at most self catering cottages, and were very much appreciated. A lovely comfortable cottage. Central for easy access to surrounding coastal towns.

Nice cottage but let down by the fact it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. This was supposed to be a non-smoking property, but the previous people had very obviously chain smoked in it. We would have appreciated a courtesy call to warn us about this or the option of switching bungalows, as we have a tiny baby and were not particularly happy about her sleeping in an environment which smelled so strongly of tobacco smoke. In the end we got rid of the smell with lots of shake n vac, cooking, opening windows and hoovering but we would have appreciated a courtesy call.
