This spacious family holiday home, ideally situated on a main road, makes for a perfect place to stay and is located just on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The house, formerly a B&B, offers spacious accommodation with six bedrooms spread over three floors. Lovingly furnished to a very good standard, you will find everything you need in this lovely house for a relaxing stay. Situated in Cark-in-Cartmel, home to Holker Hall, Cumbria’s premier stately home, with its stunning gardens. Grange-over-Sands (4 miles) with shops and pubs, overlooks the bay with a fine, mile-long Edwardian promenade. Further east you will find Leven with Levens Hall. Morecambe Bay is close by, and both the Cumbria Coastal Way and the Cistercian Way run through Cark. The property is located just 2 miles from the historic village of Cartmel, with its 12th-century priory church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the North of England. Other attractions include Ducky’s Farm Park, children will love the petting farm and soft play area, and Lakeland Miniature Village, both of which are just 5 minutes away. Visit Cartmel Racecourse, the most picturesque racecourse in the country, with meetings on the late May and August bank holidays. Try the famous sticky toffee pudding shop in the village. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the many walks with stunning views, right on your doorstep. Eeabank House makes for a perfect location from which to explore the Lakes. Shop 15 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.
