A lovely comfy cottage, very well equipped, all very clean, lovely kitchen, nice and warm (had the wood burner going a couple of evenings) and a good secure garden for our little Jack Russell. Bedding all beautifully clean and such comfy beds. Would definitely go back again. Nice walks on the doorstep and not far from Bakewell and Buxton which we loved.

Really enjoyed our stay at Edge Cottage. The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, and contained everything we needed. Lovely garden as well but too cold to spend anytime in as we were there in March, although the dog definitely enjoyed it. Waking up to the stunning views of Curbar Edge was a particular highlight, along with there being so much to see nearby. The owner left us a welcoming bottle of wine and nibbles, which was much appreciated after a long journey. Was our first visit to the Peaks and loved it, will return to the cottage again.

Lovely cottage well equipped, was quite possibly the nicest kitchen we saw ,which when you are cooking Christmas lunch is important! The dog liked lying down in front of the log burner after a day of peak walking! Would love to to go back in the summer. The Bordoli family and Nina the border terrier

Cosy cottage with lovely views of the edges and plenty of walks from the door. Would love to have been able to use the lovely garden in better weather.

Great location, although steep hill down to nearest walkable pub, so may be an issue for some. Found numbers of walks from cottage, so no need to use car. Cottage well equipped, overall condition good, but light furniture not practical for holiday let and now needs a little upgrade. Great comfortable queen size bed, but pillows need to be better quality. Beautiful private enclosed garden, great for dog. Some attention needed to paving (cleaning of moss) as when wet is dangerously slippy. Would definitely recommend cottage and feel was value for money.
