This was our twelth time at East View. It suits us well. Very quiet spot. Within 200 yards of forest walks and a pub and about 1/2 mile to the corner shop. The log burner is wonderful in Winter. The stairs seem to be getting steeper as we get older! A week is never long enough.

Limited storage in the kitchen and cooked not particularly clean. Only one toilet roll out, we did eventually find more in the cleaners cupboard, after we had bought some. Very comfortable and quiet, easy access to all areas, spacious garden which would be a joy in the summer. Good local pubs and all dog friendly.

Our fourth time at this cottage and as we always said we would only visit the same cottage once as we would like to try other locations, I think this reflects how highly we rate this property. It has everything necessary for a fabulous break and I cannot thank the owner enough for all the attention she paid to any questions and comments we put to her. Thanks once again for a memorable holiday.

Lovely cottage very homely, could do with a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs. Also a mirror in the opposite hedgerow for getting out of the drive more easily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay had booked to take our dogs but one was not well so they stayed at home with a sitter.

Response on behalf of the Owner; I am very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at East View. I am sorry you did not find the gate for the bottom of the stairs. It is stored in the porch. I had not thought of a mirror in the hedge. The lane is used so little and it is so quiet there, that on the odd occasion when there is a car coming, I have heard it. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Thank you very much for yours.

Excellent stay again, superb location for great walks in the forest. Cottage very cosy when the weather not so good. Everything there for a great stay, one minor thing would be a more powerful shower, but the one there is adequate. Highly recommended to get away from it all

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the Owner; I agree with you about the shower. It would be good to have a more powerful flow. My plans to fit a pump came to nothing as we have the wrong sort of shower set up, so I am looking at other options. I am very pleased to hear what a good time you had at the cottage and thank you for sharing your ideas: I appreciate it.
