No instructions for TV . Lounge chair needs replacing. Instructions for use of oven. And clearer directions to find the cottage. A small sign at the gravel road entrance would be great as we spent 30 minutes trying to find the cottage. Loved the location away from Inverness but close enough for trips to visitor locations

Quiet and comfy with North Kessock being fairly close with a pleasant tea room and pub.

Disappointment is the key word. While the cottage was clean inside the steps and area outside was covered in ingrained dirt and moss and with loose pavers was a liability and an accident waiting to happen. The broom leaning against the cottage also had moss growing on it and obviously hadn't been moved or used for a long time. Overgrown trees meant minimal sun. When I arrived I could not get the TV to work . At least I had my iPad. The next day the TV was still not working and no response from either of the owners phone numbers or by knocking on the owners door. The lovely gent in the next cottage spent hours trying to make it work. Still no response from owners. I had 3 nights without TV and after multiple calls came home on the 3 rd night to find someone had retuned the TV . However that night the tv switched itself off again . I eventually met the owner on the 4 th day and he bought a repair man the day before I left. By this stage the tv was working. It wasn't so much the lack of the TV as the inability to get hold of the owners. The shower was pretty pathetic. Over the last 4 months I have stayed in cottages all over Britain and this was the most expensive and worse value for money.
