Description

Set on the owners’ farm and accessible for wheelchair users, The Parlour is a dreamy holiday home with en-suite facilities for both bathrooms.

Set on the owner’s farm, these beautifully renovated, semi-detached barns are ideal for holidaymakers that want to explore the area, as well as for more leisurely breaks with your feet up and the TV on. Surrounded by open countryside yet only a short drive to the A1, the properties are situated in a peaceful location, but still have easy access to nearby attractions such as Newark, which is famous for its International Antiques Fairs and showground. Lincoln is home to the New Magna Carta Centre as well as a stunning cathedral and castle, just 17 miles away, which is around a 30-minute drive. Fishing is available in the nearby River Trent and one of the local fishing lakes. Good walks and cycle routes (bike storage available) pass by the front door, and with the local pub just 1 mile, you can enjoy a pleasant meal and a drink in the evenings, before strolling back home. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The cottage was very good and plenty of room and equipment. We did not have any problems and the people were lovely. Our only problem was the loud road noise but it was not constant.

Very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and considerate owners. Wifi was a little intermittent, but mobile phone coverage is good. Easy access to nearby towns and from major routes - car is necessary as no shops etc nearby. The only negatives are that this cottage and it's neighbour have been converted from a single building and share a common courtyard area which both properties look onto. There is no private outside space, and no outlook beyond the courtyard. But overall a very well presented property. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hosts who welcomed us on arrival. Lemon drizzle cake, milk and eggs awaited us which was great. Comfy cottage just ideal for my elderly parents as all on one level. Local store very near and lots of National Trust properties not to far away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunstall barns. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the accommodation itself was super clean, well appointed and comfortable. I rate our holiday 10 out of 10 - nothing less would do it justice. Thank you to all the family.
