We love the Oban area and know our way around, we had a very relaxing two weeks and really enjoyed the Cottage. Everything was as described in the brochure.

Enjoyed the comfort of this well equipped cottage, and the location was ideal for our exploration of the coast around Oban and the isles, using the Calmac ferries. A dog friendly place and the owners so lovely and helpful. Weather was mixed, but it did not matter, scenery so amazing.

The cottage is well-equipped but has a couple of basic flaws, the main one being the poor lighting in the bathroom making it hard to shave for example. The other problem we felt was the close proximity of the sound studio which was in use every evening. It wasn't so much the noise (though we did have to ask for the base to be turned down at one point) as the constant going and froing of people including the odd smoker staring at us across the courtyard in our lounge as they had a fag break.

Lovely cottage , has everything you need and spotlessly clean. Great location and very quiet. Can't wait till I go back in June by which time I hope it's stopped raining .

A wee gem of a cottage just a few minutes from Oban and in a perfect location for touring the west coast and islands. Good centre for walking and sailing (marina less than a mile away) and the cottage has all the amenities you need including a modern fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and efficient easy-access shower. There’s also a fully equipped recording studio for hire which, thankfully, is fully sound-proofed. You have the added benefit of knowing you are not just hiring a holiday home but helping a lovely young couple complete their own grand design project to bring a neglected farm steading back to a wonderful new life.

This cottage has everything you need and more, very comfortable. My children and my dogs loved the huge garden, and there are things to do within walking distance of the cottage, lovely beach, marine laboratory, dunstaffnage castle. The cottage itself is very cosy with everything thought of that you may need, there wasn't anything we were looking for. The owners of the cottage are very accommodating and are there for anything you need. This was my third stay and I hope to stay a forth time.
