We had a lovely time in Goleen. The view from the house is fabulous. The house is very well stocked and beds are really comfy! We ate out on two nights, our first night was at Nottages in Crookhaven, food was delicious and excellent service. Our second night was at The Strand Hotel in Schull, it was quiet on the night but food was great and service was really good also. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return to this beautiful area.

A group of 12 stayed April 2-9, we had an amazing stay the location of the house was just perfect we even got to see seals at the bottom of the garden. We did have a little difficulty finding the house but a phone call to Katherine the caretaker was all that was needed. The driveway is windy and uneven (this was a little tricky as we were on motorbikes). The house has so much space and even though there were 12 of us, we could still have peace and quite. There is a full size snooker table which kept the fellas entertained, one side of the roof sloped but this wasn't too much of an issue. The pictures on the website definitely don't show the full potential of the house it was so much bigger. My partner and son went out for the day and saw dolphins. No one in our group had a bad word to say about this place and all will definitely be returning, Ireland is such a beautiful place with so many place to visit and lots to do.
