We enjoyed our stay at Drover's. The cottage is very comfortable and warm, the owners lovely and helpful.

The open plan and mezzanine bedroom does not work in conjunction with electric heating. The bedroom was warm but downstairs cool. Would not recommend cold weather booking. Location is good for both east and west coasts, easy to travel either way in an hour or less. Only a budget hotel in the village so need to travel to stock up on essentials.

IF you want a beautiful, peaceful location, near a river, with wonderful walking in the woodland, then this is the place for you. The cottage was delightful, but having the bathroom downstairs, was not the best plan for us now we are getting older.....but that was our mistake, and the views from the bedroom balcony were so beautiful, it worked well for our relaxation!
