We stayed for a week at the end of September and were over the moon with our stay. Although not advertised as child friendly, the owners were more than accomodating by providing a travel cot. The cottage is set away from the A6 and surrounded by fields with cows and sheep - our son loved it! The cottage has all of the usual modern conveniences plus a few touches of luxury that made it a home away from home for a week.

No internet access made our stay difficult. Dirty wet towels were left on arrival. Cobwebs in bathroom. I would have expected a bin bag and a clean toilet roll for that price. The top oven wasn't as clean as I would have e pegged and the bottom oven wouldn't work unless the clock was set. I tried several times to set it without succes and judging by its cleanliness other people had not been able to use it either. So why isn't the clock set each time. I don't expect to have to set an oven clock for the weekend. We loved the beds and the bathrooms. It was well equipped and the patio was lovely and we appreciated its use and views. Would recommend it but a few things need attention.
