Located in a quiet one way street the property was clean and in good order. The only problem we found was the fact that the bathroom was downstairs from the two bedrooms with a very steep and narrow staircase to negotiate. There was no proper handrail at the top third of the stairs. A minor fault with the stairway lighting was very quickly repaired. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Nice touches with a bottle of wine, coffee tea, etc on arrival and lots of games, DVDs and reading materials. Rear garden very steep and "under development".

Driftwood Cottage is an ideal place to stay in Ventnor. As a young family we had everything we needed and was a perfect retreat after a long day out about or a cosy stay in if the weather was too cold and wet. Our hosts could not do enough for us and struck the perfect balance of providing information without being too intrusive in their presence.

Our 1st time on Isle of Wight & we will definitely be returning. We can only echo what has already been said about this fabulous cottage from the moment we walked in & saw the welcome goodies. They have thought of everything it certainly was our home from home. We will be recommending this cottage to all our friends & family.

Absolutely amazing cottage, perfect in every way, we loved it from the moment we stepped inside, will definitely be returning to this little gem, so glad we found this cottage. Credit must go to the owners who have thought of everything, as for the decor it's just like been at home, very similar taste to my wife.

Love Driftwood Cottage! We had a lovely, restful and relaxing 2 weeks on the Isle of Wight and that was mostly due to Driftwood Cottage - so cosy and fully equipped, home from home. It was so nice to know that after exploring the delights of Osbourne House, Sandown, Cowes, Shanklin, Alum Bay, etc., etc., you were coming back to a spotless cottage and comfy beds! Whilst Ventnor looks a bit tired on first look, the character and charm of some of the hostelries and people are exceptional - we especially enjoyed the Spy Glass Inn and Perks was fab and quirky - a real gem! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks to Trudi and Kevin - you obviously care and your cottage is a credit to you.

As near perfection as would ever be possible. Superbly equipped, beautifully furnished and decorated - and a wonderful welcome pack. The best holiday cottage (of many) that we have used.

Ideal base for a family holiday on the Isle of Wight. Everything you could need is provided and the welcome basket was very generous.

Probably the best cottage we have stayed in as it was so well presented and equipped. It was more like staying in a home than a rental cottage. The owners were very thoughtful with a welcome gift and obviously take pride in the cottage.
