This cottage would struggle to be better than it is. All comforts including an amazing power shower and wonderful wood burning stove. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the countryside is lovely but only 40 minutes from Edinburgh. We will be back!

Had the most fabulous week there, the cottage had everything you could possibly need and more. Such an oasis of calm, the perfect place to get away from it all, just the sheep and cows for company. The owners were the perfect hosts, as was the caretaker. We loved it so much (2 adults, 3 children aged 13, 9 and 7 plus 1 dog) even our car didn't want to go home (dead battery)

Fabulous cottage in a peaceful location. Very comfortable and wonderful showers! Owners friendly and helpful. My only small gripe would be that for a family of six there were no saucepans/serving dishes large enough for cooking bigger quantities of food.

Lovely cottage in good location. Extra fuel supplement during winter months adds £6 a night to the price, which makes the cottage vastly over priced.
