Delightful small cottage tucked away in the centre of a lively little town. Good bus connections e.g. to Abbotsbury, Lyme Regis. I used it as the base for walking holiday along the coast path and it is ideally situated, easy walking distance along the river to West Bay. Short stay car park just around the corner, free after 6pm and on Sundays and you can pay ahead in the evening for a few hours into the next morning. If you're taking the car out every day this is fine. I found the cottage warm and hardly used the heating - just as well as I don't understand storage heaters and don't quite see the point - why do you need heaters at night time when you're in bed that go cold during the day? But electric fan heaters were also provided, though I didn't need to use them. I had a happy week here and would be happy to stay again.

This was our second visit to the cottage. Everything needed was provided for, and of good quality . Perfect quiet holiday for two , especialy with your own transport . The buses were less often in late September, but it was manageable still to get around.

Once we sorted out parking the car, we had a very relaxed time and enjoyed this cosy cottage and would choose it again! We particularly enjoyed a couple of very good meals at the Olive Tree in Bridport and enjoyed visiting the Dorset Open Art Studios during the week we were there and walking part of the South West Coast Path.

Pleasant cottage for two, well situated in central Bridport and very handy for the beautiful Dorset countryside. Unfortunately no shower curtain or Wi-Fi, although the signal is also weak elsewhere and this might be the reason.

A lovely little cottage perfect for two. In a very convenient location only very slight niggle was having to use local car park, but we knew this before we went so it was not really a problem . Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage, very clean. Had to contact the owners (but only because I did not read the instructions left in the cottage properly) and they were very kind and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Dorset, the location is perfect too!

Our 3rd time at this cottage and we love it. The updates since we last came are most welcome - no more coins for electric and better heating (not that we needed heating, weather was great). For 2 people it's the perfect base to go walking all day hen come back and relax for a while before going out to choose a restaurant. We cooked in 2 or 3 times using locally produced veg and meat. No problems with parking close by on South street or down by the football ground (cheaper) - the booking site does say that the cottage has no parking included with it, so no idea why people complain about the parking. Great little place, love it.
