Lovely, comfortable and warm cottage, we were worried about parking on the busy road but in the end it was no problem! Easy access to Berwick and local shops, supermarket close by. The cottage was good for kitchen equipment and very clean and tidy, the only downside would be :- Television was too small for size of room but we didn't watch it that much on our three day stay so didn't really bother us and the property could benefit from a downstairs shower room/toilet.

A warm and comfortable, well resources cottage. It was ideally located for attractions throughout Northumberland and also for places over the border in Scotland. Near to local shops etc but as it is near a working dock, noise from lorries etc needs to be expected.

This house provided us with comfy, spacious accommodation for our 3-generational family. As a base for visiting this scenic and historic area, it was excellent. As the address, Dock Road suggests, the location is not the most picturesque, but for convenient access to Berwick on Tweed, a beautiful walled town with a range of eating and drinking options, it scored highly.

Great location 5 minutes to Berwick over the bridge watching the fishermen. Or 5 mins to a lovely beach

Convenient location, just 10 minute walk over the bridge from Berwick town centre. Cosy, clean and welcoming cottage. Very good value for money. Would stay again.

Great house in a great location... Clean and stocked with 99% of everything you could possibly need. Second time we have stayed there, highly likely won't be our last.

Handy walking distance to both Berwick town and the beach at Spittal. Spacious cottage, comfy beds, plenty of shops very nearby (incl. Asda) and takeaway places. Well supplied with tourist info, books, games and toys. Our only suggested improvement would be the addition of Wi-fi

Brilliant holiday at dock cottage, spotlessly clean, TV needs updating and wifi would be good but the location is perfect. Will be back next year.

Dock Cottage is in a very good location if you are using public transport. The bus stop is 5 mins away and the train station about 20 mins walk. There is an Asda and Spar nearby for shopping. Berwick is a 10 min walk over the bridge. The kitchen is well equipped and the heating very efficient. I think it fair to say that it is homely and a bit tired with a view of the dock buildings but the price reflects this.

Cottage was very nice inside but no off-road parking - my side mirror was hit while parked on the street in front of the house. There was no garden either. But kitchen was thoughtfully stocked and we had fun with the family games provided.
