Location perfect. This is the third time we have stayed there in the past five years, however Gite needs upgrading, especially the bathroom. Shower was not usable, which meant I had to wash my partner had to wash her long hair over the sink. Also kettle and toaster need to be replaced- hit and miss whether they worked. It's a shame as we love the location and do have a good stay. This needs to be sorted as it will prevent visitors returning- we really hope so, as we want to return.

Typical French poorly finished, 2 burner hob would only take one pan safely. Oven very small, and the electrical connection showing signs of a melt down. Nice location shame about the finish, dark and not comfortable. Also as reported the walls are very thin, so you can hear your naighbour moving around. On the positive side good location, and the guys helpful and willing to help, this is one of a terrace of gites, feel we chose the bottom end of the availability.

We loved it the year before so we went back this year. Absolutely love this cottage and the river in front and Dinan Port is my favourite place

Small but clean and comfortable cottage in lovely location by river, easy walking distance of Port de Dinan and onwards to Dinan. Only quibbles are that the side walls are thin, so we could clearly hear conversations in cottages on either side; and that the front wall is thick, so access to the wireless access point located in the bar opposite was limited and intermittent.

A Good location with restaurants in walking distance. Gail at the bar opposite was helpful and friendly. please tell future holiday makers to pick up the key at the bar.

Unfortunately, due to family circumstances we were only able to stay one night; however, that does not preclude the following feedback: 1. A very warm welcome. 2. Delighted that our dog could stay as well. 3. A stunning location sadly let down by the accommodation. 4. Noise was bordering on being unacceptable. To be able to hear someone in the neighbouring gîte cough half the night is not what you expect together with other people’s conversations. 5. The overhanging hob and oven extractor hood was at a height that caused considerable inconvenience and impact injury; borderline health and safety issue. 6. Open tread staircase highly dangerous. 7. Obtrusive external light pollution at night. 8. Poor shower facilities. 9. Unmade beds. 10. Poor quality towels.

Excellent position, peaceful and tucked away, but an easy stroll along the river to the medieval town of Dinan. Pleasant river walks from gite and cafe/bar adjacent which was handy for a snack and although close never noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gite was adequate, we found it very dark downstairs, and some of the kitchen utensils need a review,e.g chipped plates. The double bedroom is very pleasant and it's wonderful waking up and looking out at the river views. It has a nice area to sit outside and catches the last of the evening sun.

We love Dinan, especially Rossignols, where the café and gites are located. Mr. Hery is a great chef and owner! We stayed in the larger gite about three years ago, and it wasn't as comfortable as Beaudouin. However, is was separated from the others by a store area, and was much more insulated. Beaudoin gite was superb, but the trouble was it had other cottages on either side, and the walls were very thin. The neighbours were by no means noisy, but you could hear them on the phone, voices in the bedroom, music, television etc., even in the bathroom. We took to wearing earplugs, and creeping around so as not to disturb neighbours.
