Me and my friends stayed here for the weekend. We had the most amazing time and looking forward to going back. The cottage has everything you need. Diane was lovely and extremely helpful. If you are considering this place then just book it as you won't regret it! Thanks!!!

The cottage itself is lovely- classically higgledy-piggledy and set in a beautiful location. The bedrooms are all a good size and there are sufficient bathrooms to accomodate numbers - we were 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped in terms of plates and cutlery and cooking equipment with all that you might need to host and entertain a group of the size of the cottage. However the fridge is tiny and not at all appropriate for a house intended to accommodate up to 8 people. It is a below tabletop fridge only. Unfortunately, with the closest supermarket a 20 min drive away, this leaves you requiring a daily commute for food. STRONGLY ADVISE THAT THE COTTAGE UPSIZES THE FRIDGE OR ADDS A SECOND IN THE UTILITY AREA The dining area is homely and easy - we enjoyed longer meals and family games here. The sitting room is not a great shape for shared experiences - long and thin - and a little dark in winter. The grounds and setting of the cottage are lovely - we didn't use the pool (out of season) - but loved the ease of getting into deep country and long walks. We'd stay again if they add a bigger fridge :)

Great property, great location. Friendly host. We have stayed here several times a year for the past 7 years. That speaks for itself.

Lovely cottage, beautiful setting, pool was fantastic but it needs a ladder for people less able to get in and out.

The best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. The pool is a real bonus especially withe children. The Weald is beautiful and getting to the best bit of the Sussex coast between Eastbourne and Seaford is easy. Lots to do in the area and some great pubs

A lovely place to stay for the whole family. Kids loved the pool and tennis court was there if we needed it.
