We had a wonderful much needed holiday at Diddybones barn. We explored many local walks and found 4 beautiful old open empty churches to sing in! What a bonus! Shame the sculpture park a bit further away wasn't ok with dogs, it wldve been helpful to have known that from their advertising. But West Wittering, Raymonds Castle, Chichester all worth a visit. We felt very welcome in Forestside. Lgbt friendly for sure. Sarah and Bruce are great hosts, exactly in the right place for the job! Any problem or question was sorted or answered promptly... Including a broken oven!!!

Good place to stay if you have a dog. Not really a cottage more a loft conversion but the views and forest access are outstanding! Bed very comfortable. Only one warning: MIND YOUR HEAD. If you are over 5ft tall you will have to walk around with a lean. Wi-fi is iffy to non-existent so download anything you need on your tablet before you arrive. Only discovered the books on the last day. Victoria Inn at West Marsden is well worth a visit.

We stayed at Diddy Bones Barn for 3 nights and had a fantastic time! The accommodation is homely and very comfortable with everything that we could possibly need (we couldn't connect to the wifi but this wasn't an issue for us at all). The owners of the barn are really welcoming and helpful. It was the perfect get away for a relaxing couple of days walking the dog and getting some much needed fresh air.

I decided to book a weekend away for my Wife's 60th. I saw this an instantly fell in love with the details and pictures. I booked this immediately. Once we arrived we were greeted by the very lovely owners and made it very warming. 10 minutes to the local shop which sells pretty much everything. Very clean, all equipment equipped. lovely views, see/hear wildlife, Rate it 10/10 We would without a doubt return to this property if we would think about going on holiday in the country. We would also most definitely recommend this too anyone who has a passion for the country and surrounding wildlife.

Very comfortable, good car parking, the balcony was an absolute plus along with the good weather, great for a cup of tea at the end of the day. The biscuits, (dog and human) was a very welcoming greeting. The accommodation was equipped with all we needed, it was warm and cosy. Local pubs and restaurants plus the convenience store at Rowlands Castle completed all we needed. The local people we met during the numerous walks were all welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay at Diddybones Barn, which was attractive and very well equipped. There was a slight problem with the pitched roof, and, and until we got used to it, we frequently bumped our heads, but overall it was an excellent place to stay, and we would return if we needed to stay in that area again.

Lovely property and superb hosts. The pictures don't do it justice. I would have never have guessed they allowed dogs as there is no sign or smell of them. Not the best property for tall people, I was just ok at 5ft 11 but it's not a big issue you soon get used to it. Perfect for goodwood and more exploring other locations.
