The cottage is spacious and immaculately clean, with very friendly and helpful owners. The cooking facilities consist only of a two-ring electric hob and a combi-microwave, with limited worktop space. There are two pubs within walking distance for those who don't want to self-cater. The location is right next to the very busy main road, the A12, so be prepared for constant traffic noise: however, as both the bedrooms are situated behind a double-glazed corridor and extra Japanese-style sliding screens, this noise is not intrusive at night. It's a good spot for visiting the Suffolk AONB coast, including Minsmere RSPB reserve, and for travelling inland along the picturesque "brown-signed" tourist route, the A1120.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped. The owners were welcoming & friendly. It's very close to the A12 but the road noise was only obvious in the lounge area. The bedrooms were quiet & we slept very well indeed. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. There's a delightful café in the village, Louie Lou's, where you are ensured of a great welcome and some delicious cakes!
