Beautifully presented cottage, furnished to the highest standards. Perfect, secluded setting for those seeking peace and tranquility. Miles from anywhere accessed by narrow single track roads so a 4w drive would be handy in the winter months! The owners couldn't do enough for you. Many thanks to them for a very pleasant stay

We had a great holiday and the cottage was well equipped. The only downside was the access road to the cottage, particularly the last half mile or so, although fortunately it did not cause us any major problems. We feel more passing places on this stretch of road would be beneficial.

Really like this place. Traditional building, nice and clean, good level of comfort and everything we wanted in the kitchen (although we didn't do too much cooking). Great location for cycling (road or MTB) but they do have proper hills here (we’re from Norfolk). Owner is a keen cyclist and more than happy to give advice/local knowledge on routes. Kinder is just behind the cottage so it's also idea if you fancy a walk over Kinder to Edale. Nearest village is Chinley (about 4km) which has a pub (Old Hall Inn) that serves the best steak and ale pudding ever (pre-order needed).
