Such a homely cottage and peaceful area. The hosts were very welcoming and offered great suggestions on activities. The games room was good and a relaxing hot tub

Lovely location, even in the mist. Jane and Edrin were great hosts, very informative and lovely with the children. Great to have the sheep just outside, kids loved watching them come past every morning. Hot tub was a great addition. Only very minor fault would be the size of the bath towels, really need to be bath sheets! Would return again in the warmer months to get a better view of the surrounding area without as much mist. Definitely stay again when in the area.

This is a superb little cottage ideally situated for local walks and cycle trails. The hosts were excellent and very informative. The cottage had everything needed for a short break and the hot tub an added bonus. Local shops and a pub serving afternoon tea and evening meals. Lovely break for new year.

Great break. Ideal location as it was so peaceful. Too cold to venture out to hot tub so enjoyed the warmth in the cottage instead. Stunning views.

We had not been to this part of Wales before and were bowled over by it. Jane and Edrid were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We should love to stay here again.

This is a very special place to which we will definitely be returning. The owners, Edrydd and Jane, were amazing and made us feel like we were truly at home. The games room and hot tub were fantastic and added to the whole amazing holiday experience. This place is a real find.

A lovely location with very well maintained cottage and friendly owners who couldn't do enough for us. Lots of interesting places to explore within driving distance. We were lucky as the weather was beautiful. The only slight downside is the distance from a town which is the best part of 20 minutes drive to Aberystwyth (in terms of shops and eating there is very little in the village of Devil's Bridge, and the cottage is in any case a mile or so from there). Also for info the hot tub and games room are a little way from the cottage and adjacent to the owners' property, so not really possible to use the hot tub whilst children are in bed.

Lovely private cottage with great outdoor space and access to a hot tub and games room. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend. The hosts were so welcoming and attentive. They helped us build and prepare a BBQ and the hot tub was spotless. I would highly recommend.

This was a very short stay: however the proprietors were extremely pleasant and helpful. It was disconcerting, initially, that when I phoned prior to the visit (as requested in email) there was no answerphone with which to leave a message and that also there appears to be no internet contact available. Indeed, I do think that an internet connection at the cottage would be a good idea - I know it says there's wi-fi, and a password is given, but none of us could make that work: there's no landline and absolutely no mobile signal there either (perhaps that's why the wi-fi doesn't work). Leaving this problem aside, the cottage could hardly be bettered.
