Roomy, well equipped cottage with comfortable bed, and wifi in a very quiet location. There is a games room with pool table, table tennis, barbecue and a hot-tub (short walk from cottage). About 20 minutes drive from Aberystwyth for the nearest shops with some stunning views along the way. I would say that a car is essential although you could possibly manage on the steam railway from Devil's Bridge to Aberystwyth. Jane and Edryd were very welcoming and directed us to some excellent local walks. The Hafod estate is well worth a visit if you like walking. We would definitely stay here again.

Cannot express how delighted my family were staying in this beautiful little cottage in a lovely part of the world! Hosts Idryd and Jane were outstanding and could not help enough. Hopefully will stay again next year. So may places to explore worth driving up to Snowdnia and down to Aberaeron and Mwnt beaches. Hopefully will visit again soon!

Me and my children had a lovely time. Very relaxing and the landscape was amazing with too much to do. In four days we did as much as we could and we could have stayed there forever. The owners were very friendly and they recommended exactly what we were looking for. Our favorites were Hafod Estate, the many waterfalls, Devil's Bridge and the Rheidol Valley/Cwm Rheidol. The kids loved swimming in the river and bodyboarding at Borth Beach. The cottage was lovely, the gardens were very well maintained and safe for young children. Definitely recommendable.
