An absolutely lovely holiday location, idyllic and peaceful with sheep filled rolling fields as far as the eye could see. The cottage was clean, spacious and had everything you would need, definitely a home from home. The hot tub was a lovely bonus to relax in after various long days sightseeing.

The lodge was lovely, everything you could ever need whilst staying there. Lovely comfortable beds, plenty of room for two families, added bonus was the hot tub. Helen and her family are very friendly and very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Helen invited the kids up to the farm to see the animals and they loved it. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely place to stay & located in a lovely quiet area. If you want a larger town nearby though, it's not for you. We didn't, so it was just perfect for us in all respects. Helen & her Mum are great folks to deal with. Treat them as well as they will treat you, please...they deserve it!

Me and my family spent a wonderful week here this summer. The lodge itself is beautiful. It is well equiped with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space inside and out for a large family to spread out and relax without falling over each other. Remote location but didnt bother us, plenty of walks on the doorstep and the scenery is just breathtaking. Hot tub was an added bonus and was well used. Helen if really helpful and nothing is too much trouble, a very welcoming owner. We will definately be back next summer. To sum it up in three words PEACEFUL, RELAXING and BEAUTIFUL.
