We were greeted with a warm welcome. The living area is large and open plan, plenty of room for 8 adults. The kitchen is well equipped. Location - short drive to Whitby and villages nearby seemed to have a choice of pubs (however didn't frequent them). The cottage is done a farm track and feels like your in the middle of nowhere but the village is about a mile away. Decor - high end and in keeping with the cottage.

We had a brilliant time at the cottage. I wouldn't recommend 8 adults stay with only 2 bathrooms, 6 max! The wood burner was an excellent feature.

We had a lovely weekend in this cottage and wished we had been able to stay a week. Wellequipped in good location with lots to do in the area. Marvelous views, good playground for children with lots of walks available from the cottage. The owners were very welcoming and , we look forward to staying again.

Fabulous cottage in a stunning location. Just what you need if you want to get away from it all. No phone reception for some networks but frankly this was a bonus! Owners lovely.

We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return. The cottage was well equipped and the wood burning fire was gorgeous. The owners were very friendly especially Kate and the information book had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Brilliant week - hard to find initially though, could do with a sign at the top of the lane! Lovely place , very quiet. Found it difficult with a pushchair but did not stop us having a super time just had to use the car each time we went to the village.
