This is the second time we have stayed at Daisylea and we love it. It is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting and Iona, the owner, always makes us welcome with home baked bread with jam and butter waiting for us after our long journey to Scotland.

We really enjoyed our stay in Daisylea. The location was perfect, the weather great and the house itself lovely. Iona, the owner, was very helpful when we could not get the TV started and she had left us some home made bread and jam for our arrival. We will stay here again as we are planning a return to this area in the spring.

Spoiler only by the weather which only serves to encourage a return visit. The accommodation was excellent, the surroundings quiet and the walks enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay at Daisylea. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment and utensils you could possibly need. The welcome provisions were a thoughtful touch and the owner was very friendly. The area is beautiful, with lots of walks from the doorstep. We'll definitely be back to Daisylea.

What a lovely cottage. Surpassed our expectations. Really comfortable and welcoming (both the cottage and the owner). A generous welcome pack including delicious soda bread. Cottage was comfortable, warm and extremely well equipped. (Having a payphone was useful as mobile signal was variable.) Location is quiet but convenient. Easy to walk straight out of the door to interesting areas or a bus passes the end of the road a few times during each week day. We expected to travel further for things to do but there was so much to see and do in the immediate area that this wasn't needed. The whole area was fascinating with walks, trips to islands and numerous ancient and interesting sites very near by. Well worth a visit.
