An ideal place providing the weather is good and you can enjoy the surrounding countryside . Although the cottage had lots of books games and dvds there was not a lot to do in the surrounding area if it was raining. Walks along the canal were interesting as were those in the Forrestry commission land and nature reserve. There is no local shop and one had to travel into Lochgilphead for a small co-op. The food in the local hotel was expensive and not particularly high standard. Kilmartin provided a small museum and excellent reasonably priced food in the local hotel. Wild life sail from Ardfern was good but expensive

A fabulous cottage and very well equipped. Plenty of information on where and what to visit nearby. Iona has thought of everything. The welcome pack brilliant even a bottle of 'fizz' to celebrate our honeymoon. We will definitely visit again in the near future.

This is the second time we have stayed at Daisylea and we love it. It is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting and Iona, the owner, always makes us welcome with home baked bread with jam and butter waiting for us after our long journey to Scotland.
