The three of us (myself and two teenagers) really loved staying at Daisy Bank Cottage which was a great location for various family visits in the Peak and Stockport. The cottage was spacious and clean. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen. We were made welcome with fresh scones, cream & jam which we really appreciated. The cottage & local scenery is absolutely beautiful. It's a perfect location for lots of walking and Froggatt Edge was as breath-taking as ever. It being February, we bought a bag of coal for the open fire and were really cosy in the evenings. We parked either directly outside the cottage or on the road just a few yards from the front door - not a problem at all. I highly recommend this cottage and hope to be back again in the future.

Great place, access to the garden difficult. Bigger bin in the kitchen please!

A great cottage, spacious and well equipped in a fantastic location. Ideal for exploring the Peaks, and also the large cities close by.

Sparrowpit is a good spot to stay, with no traffic problems in getting out and about, and a pub selling tasty wholesome meals just a short walk away. The property was roomy, comfortable, and only slightly let down by non functioning items such as extractor fan in upper loo, the lower loo cistern and the odd failed light bulb which hadn't been replaced. It was a very cold week during our stay and we enjoyed having the real fire burning most evenings. Parking could , on occasions , be awkward if other visitors parked in the cottages parking place on the road outside, although this only happened to us once. The gardens were lovely ( maintained I believe by the owners sister ) and full of promise of a marvellous display further into the summer---it was too cold for us to use them with heavy rain and sleet unfortunately. The history of the line of cottages is interesting and we would certainly return.

The owner lives next door and was helpful without intrusion. The cottage is homely and comfortable. (I am biased because I was able to arrange to fly my radio controlled model glider on the adjacent farm land so dad was happy!)

A lovely cosy cottage but with bags of space. One of the best cottages we've stayed in. The owner was very helpful too when we needed extra bedding due to one of the children being ill. A great location too with many walks and activities only a short drive away.
