After reading previous reviews regarding the damp smell and cold we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in February. .We did not need any of the 'throws' or room freshners that we took with us.The cottage was very well equipped, warm and spacious. Previous comments noted the weak shower head but it seems that the hot water pressure isn't so good rather than the actual shower. My husband and I had the bed in the back bedroom and it was quite uncomfortable and noisy. We were a party of grandparents, two adult daughters and children of 6,3,2 meeting for half term break. There was lots to do within a short drive. I think that if we stayed in the summer we would like to be able to sit in a garden, which as far as I am aware is not available. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
