Dating back to the 15th century, Cymmo Farm occupies a stunning position in its very own 100-acre valley

Dating back to the 15th century, Cymmo Farm occupies a stunning position in its very own 100-acre valley. The detached property is completely isolated in a sunny south facing position and offers nothing but peace and tranquillity with no intrusive rail, road or plane noises, just the delicate sounds of the surrounding local countryside. Renovated with complete sympathy retaining many original features such as beams, open fireplaces and wood flooring, the property now offers very good quality holiday accommodation. It has two separate living rooms and a large kitchen with a conservatory/dining/sitting area. There are three TVs, each with a DVD player, and digital radios in every bedroom.
Despite its wonderful location, Cymmo is only 4 miles from the bustling town of Llangollen, famous for its Eisteddfods and year round festivals. It also offers some top restaurants, bars and coffee shops, some unique craft outlets and for the more adventurous it is host to a number of water sports from white water rafting to canoeing. Younger guests often enjoy the trips on horse drawn barges along the canal and rides on the local steam train. From this point the whole of the Snowdonia National Park is easily accessible. Ideal for golf. Shops 4 miles, pub ½ mile.

Cymmo was the perfect location for our family celebration. There was plenty of room for 14 people, spanning three generations, inside in the cosy accommodation and outside in the hills. The sunrise from the conservatory window was stunning.

Comfy beds and lashings of hot water. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of wood if fires required( which we didn't need) Large family kitchen diner where we spent most time as a family but 2 smaller lounges and hundreds of books, games and DVDs. Furniture a bit shabby covered with throws. No wi-fi ... blessing or curse? TV reception not good but we didn't need it.

A beautiful beamed farmhouse in a stunning and remote location on the side of the Llantysilio mountain close to the Dee valley and the Horseshoe Falls. Three generations of our family met for a week with plenty of room whilst sharing all meals together in warm comfort. We walked every day and visited Llangollen for our supplies. Lots of equipment and entertainment provided. The historic Sun Inn is family friendly and within walking distance.

We had a most wonderful weekend at Cymmo Farm. The house is full of old world charm but also very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen and dining area benefit from a very bright extension to the main building which gave ample room for our party of 14 to eat and congregate after mealtimes. The other ground floor rooms are also a good size and allow even a party of 14 to feel they are not overcrowded. The bedrooms on the first and second floors are also very quaint but of a comfortable size. In all we were thrilled with this beautiful farm and the surrounding countryside.

A lovely cottage with adequate sleeping arrangements. In fact, the single beds described are actually double beds ! So, kids had there own double beds. Nearest neighbour is half a mile away, so no disturbance from either way. Plenty of things to do in area. Will be booking again for sure. Many thanks.
