On arrival we were met by the owner who showed us around the cottage which felt very odd like we were viewing to buy it. Glad we have a landrover as the track to the cottage was slippy and uneven and I would not have taken my car up there. Kitchen was clean but utensils had seen better days. Dishwasher great and left tablets too. All the furniture downstairs is very uncomfortable dusty and smelt musty so didn't use it as I'm asthmatic. Upstairs doorways are so low even I banged my head many times and I'm 5ft. Bed uncomfortable and too small. Shower room was the best part about this cottage as clean and modern. Also window cleaner, wood delivery and lost workman turned up during our week at the cottage!

We spent some beautiful holiday at Cwmmegan. There was a lot to see, for example: Conwy Castle, Devil's Bridge, Cardiff etc.

This is by far the best ever holiday cottage we have booked! Set in Beautiful Magical surroundings, garden was so amazing! Cottage was so welcoming, felt at home the second we walked in! Loved all the antique interior perfectly done! Ruth was such a lovely host, very helpful with everything you need. We didn't want to leave!. We will definitely be back as soon as we can. Thank You Ruth!

Cottage lovely. Owner needs to leave a list of "Donts" rather than spend half an hour at the start of the guests stay telling them what not to do and what not to let them allow there children to do. The whole weekend i spent on edge instead of relaxing which was the aim of the holiday. After a 3 hour drive to get there its not the reception you want . The family photos make it difficult to feel at home and are unusual for a holiday let. Nice place but not for us again. Garden complete nightmare for younger children but the owner did tell us this when we arrived that we would have to accompany them at all relaxing cups of tea in the garden while the children played for us!

Very quiet and remote. Lovely cottage. Access could be a problem in bad weather.

What a beautiful secluded place! Ruth, the owner greeted us on our arrival & was wonderfully friendly. The house itself was picture perfect & quaint. As for location, if you love being cut off from it all, with total silence & only sheep as neighbours then Cwwmegan is the place for you. A magical place!
