We enjoyed our stay at Curlew Cottage. It was very good value for money and we would definitely stay there again. The owner was very helpful and quickly rectified a problem with a tap in the bathroom that we reported.

We received a warm welcome from the owners and the welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs etc was very much appreciated after our long journey. The lodge is in a very peaceful location, it is well equipped and extremely comfortable, we found it an ideal base to return to after busy days exploring the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed watching the horses on site, the three bulls in an adjoining field and the attention of an adorable donkey. We would be happy to return if in the area again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We spent a long weekend at Curlew Lodge in July. The facilities were excellent and the welcome pack was fantastic. Set in a countryside location with a view of a field filled with wildlife - hares, wrens, rabbits etc. Great to watch as you had your breakfast! Owners on site were helpful but unobtrusive. Great place for exploring the historical sites in the area, the reason for our visit, including Stonehenge, Avebury, Lacock and Devizes.
