Located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with easy access to the Lakes District, the Settle to Carlisle railway and a wealth of outdoor activities. Shop 6 miles, pub 3 miles.

    Our 7th visit - very peaceful and beautiful. A warm cottage despite the hail, snow and gales outside. Beautiful scenery and superb wildlife on the doorstep.

    Not often you find a cottage that is actually better than it looks on the website. Stunning views! Lots of space for us (6), well kitted out, great multifuel stove it sitting room. One dining room as well, but we did need it. Spent Xmas 17 at Cumpston & it fantastic.
