Given wrong code for Internet, so no internet for entire stay. Inadequate instructions for TV/Sky so problems getting it to work. TV old (very small) and inadequate, also DVD ran on steam, far too old.Microwave instructions urgently needed as difficult to operate. Water dispenser in fridge had mould - needs cleaning. Access road to property pot-holed at bottom. Nice welcome pack with tea/coffee biscuits and wine much appreciated. Overall condition of property very good with plenty of space and very comfortable.

Crow Hill cottage was stunning and offered large, spotlessly clean accommodation in a peaceful setting. There were all the amenities you need, with comfortable living arrangements and tasteful decor. We would happily book again and the whole family enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage.

Crow Hill Cottage is perfect. With 6 adults, a baby and a dog there was more than enough room and it's perfectly equipped for a lovely weekend. There are lovely walks from the cottage and it's the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We'd definitely go again. Thank you Crow Hill Estate

We have been hiring cottages for the past 20 years and I can say without any hesitation that Crow Hill Cottage is by far the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It's so superb that we are trying to find reasons to come back for a third time !

Fantastic cottage, spotlessly clean and easy walk to village, pub and shops. Only gripe would be the quality of the towels, very thin and small! Which was totally out of step with the other quality fittings. Otherwise excellent!

We had a lovely weekend even though we weren't far from home (one of the party lives in the next village!) The cottage is lovely, very well equipped and cosy. We really did feel we were in the middle of nowhere yet not far from anywhere. One small aside - the contact that you phone prior to arrival seems to have little knowledge that the cottage is booked and borders on rude, also be prepared for wedding couples from Crow Hill arriving at the cottage for photos!

We are just back from a truly marvelous week staying at Crow Hill Cottage. We are a family of 4 (two teenagers) and the cottage was great for us - comfortable, a good amount of space and a lovely view. We were able to go on long walks and cycle rides - starting right from the cottage on some days. We found good food - to be honest we weren't looking for fine dining but good pub food as we were very hungry after our days activities. The owner met us at the cottage when we arrived and was very pleasant. We could easily walk into town and found that the bakers made brilliant sandwiches for our days in the hills and there was a Co-op for any other provisions. This was our first trip to the Peak district and we are certain to return.
