Set in the tranquil, rural location of St Mark’s with panoramic views to the south, it is an ideal base to enjoy the splendour of the Isle of Man. Ballasalla village is just 1 mile away and has a local shop/post office, filling station, Chinese takeaway, restaurant and public house nearby. There is easy access to the many mountain bike trails and plantations on the south of the island. Silverdale Glen, which is owned by the Manx National Trust, is just 2½ miles away with fun for the young ones, with an extensive play area and boating lake, or wander down the paths, over the Medieval Monks Bridge in Ballasalla to the Rushen Abbey and the Monks Well. Nearby is a local golf course, fishing and clay pigeon shooting facilities. Property refs. W44056, W44057 and W44058 can be booked together to accommodate 12+2 guests. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
